Geckos and ginger blossoms are ever present in Hawai’i, and we were charmed by both. This little fellow was enjoying the sweet ginger blossoms outside a coffee roaster in Kona. There was a thick bed of the blossoms here, and many of them had geckos on them. Geckos are considered a beneficial animal in Hawai’i, and they aren’t bothered by humans with cameras who seemed overly interested in reptile dining habits.
