Waiting for Perseus

from $30.00

The Andromeda galaxy shines beside the northern arm of the Milky Way. In Greek myth, Andromeda was a princess of Ethiopia, chained to a rock as a sacrifice to Cetus, a child of Poseidon. She was rescued by the hero Perseus, who married her.

In our image, we captured the lovely blues, purples, and reds of the northern arm of the Milky Way. The careful observer will also note a red sprite near the horizon, and a star faintly reflected on the water.

Signed and numbered limited edition print. Printed on high-quality paper with archival inks and mounted on acid-free boards.
